Victor Grant has been taking pictures since before his 10th birthday when he received his first camera, a Kodak Box Camera. In the past he developed and printed all of his black and white photographs. He now, at times, uses a digital camera. Victor enjoys shooting in black and white as well as color. He focuses on the overall composition, including the theme, the similarity and the mood of the picture. Victor's extensive portfolio includes photographs from the Capital District of New York, Rensselaerville, the Adirondacks, Saratoga, Lake Placid, Vermont, the Bahamas, St. Croix, Puerto Rico, Italy, and the Berkshires in Massachusetts. He has exhibited his works at a number of locations around the Capital District as well as in Lenox, Massachusetts and Manchester, Vermont. Victor has supported public television by donating his works for their annual art auctions.
